Cornhill Exchange
Cornhill Exchange, once home of the Cornhill Vaults, the best pub in Lincoln, now gone forever :( There was also an arcade of small shops and a large toyshop, all have become part of Waterstones, with Abbey at the other end. Photographs taken 2nd March 2006.

My memory is quite vague now but I'm sure I visited that pub the last time I was in Lincoln some 15 years ago.
Did it have lots of small rooms or alcoves or something?

it was an underground pub (literaly), ran by an ex-policewoman. Very popular with students and like minded people :) LOTS of "rooms", if only more pubs where like this!
